The National Institute for Enterprise Development is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization committed to enhancing the capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises [SMEs] in the United States to compete on a global scale.   We design capacity-building solutions for government agencies and organizations that provide services to woman-owned small businesses plus African, Asian and Hispanic American entrepreneurs.

In building a nationwide network of member organizations, comprised primarily of chambers of commerce, NIED positions itself to impact thousands of SMEs across the United States.  The support of academic institutions, associations, corporations, foundations and individuals helps us to further our cause to create opportunity.
