We don’t inherit the earth from our parents … .  We borrow it … from our children.

The National Institute for Enterprise Development established the NIED Legacy SocietySM for investors who wish to make a bequest to NIED in their estate planning.  Rather than ask for a specific amount or percentage of any estate, NIED humbly encourages Legacy Society members to reserve a portion of their remainder estate to be devised to NIED.  This approach tends to reflect the respect the NIED holds for our donors by supporting the desire of Legacy Society members to provide for the well-being of their families.

The NIED Legacy SocietySM shall also include friends of the organization who elect to bestow a gift upon NIED via an insurance policy or similar investment instrument.  Such instruments can take the form of term or variable life insurance agreements or charitable gift annuities.

Because of their commitment to our cause, NIED honors Legacy Society members through special events, like the Annual NIED Legacy Society Breakfast™, and highlights in our publications.  Additionally, each NIED Legacy SocietySM member receives an inscription plate on The NIED Wall of FameSM regardless of the size of the gift.

The following represents the information required to devise a gift to NIED through bequest:
